About

In July 2005, Booksurf Website was launched to cater exclusively for school and municipal librarians. The Booksurf website shows a large proportion of the new books available in Australia suitable for school/municipal libraries. The list of books is up-dated bi-monthly. The centre piece of this website is a search engine, which can search up to 1.5 million titles in Australia, UK and USA using either title, author, ISBN or subject. Premier’s Reading Challenge Lists and other core lists are also listed.

Four years later Bob Wallace, owner of Booksurf, felt the need to provide his customers a little extra to compliment the service Booksurf gives.

This blog is a place where visitors can contribute to discussing new books, pick up a few tips, check out  new concepts in Web 2.0 technologies that can assist teaching and learning in the 21st Century.

We plan to provide a newsletter each term with ideas, special deals and other useful information to assist our customers.

Feel free to contribute by commenting on posts or making suggestions by emailing us at enquiries@booksurf.com.au.
